Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp relish
  • 2 Tbsp finely chopped dill pickles
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 tsp dill fresh or frozen
  • 1/2 Tbsp Dijon mustard optional

Method
 

  1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and stir to mix thoroughly.
  2. Taste and adjust seasoning—add more lemon juice or relish if desired.
  3. Chill for 15–30 minutes for best flavor, or serve immediately.

Notes

  • Fresh dill gives a vibrant flavor, but frozen works well in a pinch.
