Air Fryer Fries

These crispy air fryer fries are golden on the outside, tender on the inside, and made with just a touch of oil for a lighter, healthier take on classic French fries. Perfect as a snack, side dish, or game-day treat.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 –4 Yukon Gold or Russet potatoes scrubbed clean
  • 2 –3 tsp olive oil + olive oil spray
  • ½ tsp kosher salt
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper

Method
 

  1. Scrub and cut potatoes into ¼-inch fries.
  2. Soak in hot water for 25–30 minutes, then rinse and dry.
  3. Toss potatoes with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  4. Preheat air fryer to 380°F. Spray basket with oil spray.
  5. Cook fries in batches for 10 minutes, flipping halfway.
  6. Spray, flip again, and cook another 10 minutes until golden and crispy.

Notes

Soaking the potatoes helps remove starch and ensures crispier fries.
For extra crunch, don’t overcrowd the basket—cook in small batches.
Try adding garlic powder, smoked paprika, or Cajun seasoning for variation.
