This Air Fryer Parmesan-Crusted Chicken is juicy on the inside, crispy on the outside, and loaded with flavor thanks to garlic, herbs, panko, and freshly grated Parmesan. It’s a simple, mess-free way to enjoy crispy chicken without deep frying. Just a few pantry staples, an air fryer, and dinner is ready in under 30 minutes!

Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
  • 2 cloves fresh garlic minced
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • Olive oil spray

Method
 

  1. Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
  2. In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Rub mixture over chicken.
  4. In another bowl, mix Parmesan cheese and panko breadcrumbs.
  5. Coat each chicken breast in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing firmly.
  6. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
  7. Place chicken in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Spray lightly with olive oil.

Notes

• Use freshly grated Parmesan for best flavor and better coating adhesion.
• For extra crunch, press the coating down firmly into the chicken before cooking.
