Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup mashed ripe bananas about 2 medium bananas
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips semi-sweet or milk chocolate

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone mat.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy.
  4. Add egg, mashed bananas, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Gradually stir dry mixture into wet ingredients.
