Ingredients
  

Brownie Layer
  • ¾ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs room temperature
  • teaspoons vanilla extract
  • cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
Banana Pudding Layer
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 3.4 oz instant banana cream pudding mix
  • 2 large eggs room temperature
  • ¼ cup whole milk
Garnish
  • 16 vanilla wafer cookies

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line a 9×9-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  3. In a bowl, whisk melted butter and brown sugar.
  4. Add eggs and vanilla, whisk again.
  5. Add flour, baking powder, salt.
  6. Mix until batter is smooth. Spread into pan.
  7. Bake for 25 minutes. Let cool slightly.

Notes

  • You can use banana or vanilla pudding if banana cream is unavailable.
