Ingredients
  

  • 5 –6 bananas
  • 1 box Nilla wafers reserve a few for topping
  • 3 cups vanilla pudding
  • Cool Whip

Method
 

  1. Layer vanilla wafers in the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish, bowl, or trifle dish.
  2. Slice a banana and layer it over the cookies.
  3. Repeat with more cookies and bananas to create 2–3 layers.
  4. Spread vanilla pudding evenly over the top layer.
  5. Chill for at least 1 hour.
  6. Garnish with crushed wafers or whole cookies and banana slices before serving.

Notes

  • For best texture, assemble the pudding no more than 24 hours before serving to prevent bananas from browning.
  • Instant or homemade vanilla pudding both work well.
  • Add a sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg for a warm flavor twist.
