Ingredients
  

  • ¾ cup butter softened
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley finely chopped
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 loaf Italian bread sliced ½ inch thick
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix butter, garlic, garlic powder, parsley, and Parmesan in a bowl.
  3. Spread mixture on bread slices, place on baking tray, and sprinkle with paprika.
  4. Bake for 10 minutes until lightly toasted.
  5. Remove, sprinkle with mozzarella, then broil 1–2 minutes until cheese is melted and golden.

Notes

  • Add red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
  • Swap mozzarella with provolone for extra gooeyness.
