Ingredients
  

For the Bread:
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup buttermilk
For the Cinnamon-Sugar Topping:
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter melted
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk sugar, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla. Stir in buttermilk.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet and mix until just combined.
  5. Pour batter into prepared pan.
  6. Bake for 45–50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Notes
