Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet 1 oz Lipton Onion Soup Mix
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup whole milk
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
Sweet Ketchup Glaze
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon yellow mustard or Dijon mustard

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Spray a 9×5-inch loaf pan with cooking spray or line a baking sheet with parchment or foil and spray.
  3. In a large bowl, gently combine ground beef, onion soup mix, beaten egg, breadcrumbs, milk, ketchup.
  4. Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and pepper. Avoid overmixing.
  5. Press mixture into prepared pan or shape into oval loaf on baking sheet.

Notes

• You can use lean ground beef, but adding a little milk helps keep it moist.
