Ingredients
  

  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • Ice cold water
  • Instant vanilla pudding mix recommended: Jell-O brand
  • Heavy cream
  • Vanilla wafers recommended: Nabisco Nilla Wafers
  • Ripe bananas sliced

Method
 

  1. Whisk together sweetened condensed milk and cold water until smooth.
  2. Slowly add to pudding mix and whisk for about 1 minute until lump-free.
  3. Chill for 1 hour or overnight.
  4. Whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  5. Fold the chilled pudding into the whipped cream until fully combined.
  6. In a trifle bowl, layer pudding, wafers, and bananas.
  7. Repeat layers and end with pudding on top.
  8. Cover and chill for 4–6 hours. Serve within 12 hours for best texture.

Notes

  • Use bananas that are ripe but not overly soft for the best texture.
  • For individual servings, assemble in small glasses or mason jars.
  • Add crushed wafers or banana slices on top just before serving for garnish.
