  • 6 ounces egg noodles
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • ¼ cup butter
  • ¼ cup flour
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 ¼ cups milk
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup sour cream

Method
 

  1. Boil a pot of water and cook the noodles according to package directions.
  2. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned and cooked through.
  4. Drain excess fat and transfer to a plate.
  5. In the same skillet, melt butter and whisk in flour to form a roux.
  6. Cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
