Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 12 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Method
 

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Cook fettuccine until al dente.
  3. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.
  4. Season shrimp with salt and pepper.
  5. Melt 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet.
  6. Cook shrimp for 2–3 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.

Notes
