Ingredients
  

For Choux Pastry:
  • ½ cup 1 stick unsalted butter
  • 1 cup water
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 large eggs
For Whipped Cream Filling:
  • cups heavy whipping cream
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Boil butter, water, and salt. Add flour, stir until dough forms.
  2. Cool slightly. Beat in eggs one at a time until smooth.
  3. Pipe onto baking sheet. Bake at 400°F for 25–30 mins.
  4. Cool completely. Whip cream with sugar and vanilla.
  5. Fill puffs, dust with powdered sugar, and serve.

Notes

  • Make sure the dough cools slightly before adding eggs to prevent scrambling.
  • If the puffs deflate after baking, they may not be fully baked—extend baking time slightly.
