Ingredients
  

  • 150 g self-raising flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp sugar caster or granulated
  • 150 ml milk
  • 1 egg beaten

Method
 

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  2. Make a well, add the beaten egg and half of the milk.
  3. Gradually whisk, adding the rest of the milk until the batter is smooth.
  4. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat; lightly grease if needed.
  5. Pour batter to form pancakes and spread into a circle.
  6. Cook 2–3 minutes until bubbles form, then flip.
