Method
- Preheat oven to 400°F. In a skillet, melt olive oil and butter.
- Add onions and cook until deeply caramelized, about 20 minutes.
- Deglaze with wine, add thyme and beef broth. Simmer.
- Stir in gnocchi and cook 5–10 minutes until tender and sauce thickens.
- Season with salt and pepper. Transfer to greased baking dish.
- Top with cheese and bake 20–25 minutes until bubbly and golden.

Notes
