Garlic Butter Steak and Potatoes

Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 lbs sirloin steak cut into cubes
  • 1.5 lbs baby gold potatoes halved
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley or herbs of choice
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Boil potatoes for 6–7 mins until just tender. Drain.
  2. Sear seasoned steak in batches, 2–3 mins per side. Remove.
  3. Sear potatoes in same skillet until crisp.
  4. Add butter and garlic; cook 1 min.
  5. Return steak to pan, toss everything together, garnish and serve.

Notes

  • Don’t overcrowd the pan when searing steak—cook in batches for best browning.
  • You can swap parsley for rosemary or thyme for a different flavor twist.
