Ingredients
  

  • pounds steak sirloin, ribeye, tenderloin, or New York strip, cut into 1½-inch cubes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 5 cloves garlic minced
  • Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)

Method
 

  1. Pat steak dry and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high.
  3. Sear steak in a single layer for 1–3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  4. Reduce heat to medium. Melt butter in skillet, add garlic, and cook until fragrant.
  5. Return steak to skillet with juices. Toss to coat in garlic butter and cook briefly to heat through.
  6. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Patting the steak dry ensures a better sear.
