Ingredients
  

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • cups Parmesan cheese freshly grated

Method
 

  1. Place a medium saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Melt butter, then stir in garlic. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Slowly pour in heavy cream, whisking constantly.
  4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer 3–5 minutes until thickened.
  5. Stir in Parmesan, salt, and pepper until smooth and creamy.

Notes

  • Freshly grated Parmesan melts better than pre-shredded and gives the sauce a smoother texture.
