Grilled BBQ Chicken

This grilled BBQ chicken is smoky, juicy, and full of bold flavor thanks to an overnight marinade. Grilled to perfection and brushed with a sticky BBQ glaze, it’s the ultimate backyard dinner or summer cookout favorite.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 batch BBQ Chicken Marinade
  • 3 pounds chicken breasts, thighs, or drumsticks

Method
 

  1. Prepare marinade and place chicken in a large zip-top bag.
  2. Marinate in the fridge 12–24 hours, flipping halfway.
  3. Clean grill grates, preheat on high for 10–15 minutes, and rub with onion.
  4. Remove chicken from marinade, reserving 1 cup. Discard the rest.
  5. Place chicken on cooler grill zone, thicker side toward hot zone.
  6. Grill covered 6–9 minutes until marked.
