Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • ½ head of green cabbage shredded
  • 1 medium onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt or to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce optional
  • 1 cup beef broth or water
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • Fresh parsley forgarnish (optional)

Method
 

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add onion and sauté 2–3 minutes until soft.
  3. Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
  4. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks.
  5. Drain fat if needed.
  6. Add cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir to coat the meat evenly.

Notes

  • You can swap in ground turkey or pork for the beef if preferred.
