Ground Beef Kabobs

These ground beef kabobs are juicy, smoky, and perfectly seasoned with a touch of spice. Grilled over wood chunks, they pick up incredible flavor and pair beautifully with burger sauce or BBQ sauce. A simple yet crowd-pleasing dish for weeknights or backyard cookouts.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef 70/30
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup minced onion
  • ¼ cup green chile rub or favorite dry rub
  • Fresh parsley for garnish, optional
  • Burger sauce for dipping
  • BBQ sauce for dipping

Method
 

  1. Preheat grill to 400°F with pecan or hickory chunks.
  2. Mix ground beef, egg, onion, and dry rub in a bowl.
  3. Divide into portions (¼ cup each) and shape into oblong patties. Insert skewers.
  4. Grill over indirect heat for 5–8 minutes. Flip and cook to 165°F internal temp.
  5. Remove, garnish with parsley, and serve with dipping sauces.

Notes

  • Avoid overmixing the beef to keep kabobs tender.
