Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • ½ cup finely chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 1 packet .87 ounce brown gravy mix + water as directed on package
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 can 10.5 ounces cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 teaspoons dried parsley
  • 8 ounces extra wide egg noodles

Method
 

  1. In a large skillet, cook and crumble the ground beef over medium-high heat.
  2. Drain excess grease.
  3. Add chopped onion, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Stir and cook for 2–3 minutes.
  4. Stir in the brown gravy mix and water as directed, then add sour cream and cream of mushroom soup.
  5. Mix until smooth.
  6. Lower heat and let simmer for 15 minutes. Stir occasionally.
  7. Meanwhile, cook egg noodles in boiling water as per package instructions. Drain well.

Notes

• You can use ground turkey instead of beef for a lighter version.
