- In a large skillet, cook and crumble the ground beef over medium-high heat.
- Drain excess grease.
- Add chopped onion, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Stir and cook for 2–3 minutes.
- Stir in the brown gravy mix and water as directed, then add sour cream and cream of mushroom soup.
- Mix until smooth.
- Lower heat and let simmer for 15 minutes. Stir occasionally.
- Meanwhile, cook egg noodles in boiling water as per package instructions. Drain well.

Notes
• You can use ground turkey instead of beef for a lighter version.
• Fresh mushrooms can be added with the onions for extra texture.
