Hemp Granola with Dates

This hemp granola with dates is crunchy, wholesome, and naturally sweetened with honey. Packed with oats, seeds, almonds, and chewy dates, it’s a nutritious breakfast or snack you can enjoy with yogurt, milk, or on its own.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups rolled oats 200 g
  • 1/4 cup hemp seeds 40 g
  • 1/4 cup pepitas pumpkin seeds (35 g)
  • 1/4 cup sliced or slivered almonds 20 g
  • 1/4 cup honey 75 ml or 2.5 fl oz
  • 1/4 cup olive oil 50 ml or 1.5 fl oz
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract 3 ml
  • 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt 3 g
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon 3 g
  • 3 dates chopped

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix oats, hemp seeds, pepitas, almonds, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk olive oil, honey, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Pour wet ingredients over dry mixture. Stir to coat evenly.
  5. Spread mixture on baking sheet.
  6. Bake 25–30 minutes, stirring every 8–10 minutes, until golden brown.

Notes

  • Stir granola frequently to prevent burning and ensure even baking.
