Homemade Peach Lemonade

This peach lemonade is naturally sweet, tart, and bursting with fresh flavor. Real peaches simmered into a syrup blend beautifully with lemon juice and water for the ultimate warm-weather drink.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 ripe peaches chopped
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups water for syrup
  • 1/3 cup fresh lemon juice from 2 lemons
  • 3 cups water or sparkling water
  • Ice cubes for serving
  • Lemon slices peach slices, and mint (optional garnish)

Method
 

  1. In a saucepan, simmer chopped peaches, sugar, and 2 cups water for 10 minutes.
  2. Cool for 30 minutes, then strain.
  3. Juice 2 lemons.
  4. Mix the syrup, lemon juice, and 3 cups water in a pitcher.
  5. Stir, adjust sweetness, and serve over ice.
  6. Garnish as desired. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Use very ripe peaches for maximum sweetness and flavor
  • You can skip straining the syrup if you like pulpier drinks.
