Homemade Taco Seasoning

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Tbsp Chili Powder
  • 1.5 tsp Cumin
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Sea Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Paprika regular or smoked
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Dried Oregano
  • 1/4 tsp Red Pepper Flakes

Method
 

  1. Add all ingredients to a small bowl.
  2. Mix until fully combined.
  3. Transfer to a spice jar or airtight container and store at room temperature for up to 6 months.
  4. For Use: Add 2–3 Tbsp of taco seasoning to every 1 lb of cooked ground beef, chicken, turkey, etc.
  5. Add a splash of water if needed, and stir until the meat is fully coated and flavorful.

Notes

• Smoked paprika adds a deeper flavor, but regular works too.
• Adjust red pepper flakes for more or less heat.
• For a finer blend, pulse in a spice grinder.
