Ingredients
  

  • 14 oz chicken or turkey sausage cut into ½-inch slices
  • 2 medium sweet potatoes cut into ½-inch cubes
  • 2 cups broccoli cut into ½-inch florets
  • 1.2 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 4 medium cloves garlic minced
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1.5 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1.5 tablespoons minced fresh parsley

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Arrange sausage, sweet potatoes, and broccoli on a sheet pan.
  3. In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  4. Add honey, soy sauce, vinegar, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  5. Pour sauce over pan and toss to coat.
  6. Roast for 25–30 minutes, stirring halfway

Notes

  • Swap sweet potatoes for regular potatoes, carrots, or parsnips.
  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of chili flakes to the glaze.
