Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ lbs lean ground beef – or beef/pork blend
  • 1 cup chopped yellow onion – diced small
  • ¾ cup Italian style bread crumbs – or panko crumbs
  • cup milk
  • ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 Tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 cup spaghetti sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Line a baking sheet with foil and lightly spray with nonstick cooking spray.
  3. In a large bowl, combine beef, onion, bread crumbs, milk, parmesan, eggs, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder.
  4. Mix until just combined.
  5. Spray a loaf pan and press the mixture inside.
  6. Flip onto the baking sheet or shape by hand into a loaf.
