Mango Iced Tea

Naturally sweetened with fresh mango and brightened with lemon, this mango iced tea is the ultimate sunshine-in-a-glass. It’s easy to prep, cools you down instantly, and feels like vacation in every sip.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ripe mango peeled and diced
  • 2 black tea bags
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1/2 cup cold water for blending
  • 1 –2 tbsp maple syrup honey, or sugar (optional)
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves optional

Method
 

  1. Steep tea bags in boiling water for 5–7 minutes. Let cool.
  2. Blend mango with 1/2 cup water until smooth. Strain if desired.
  3. Mix in lemon juice and sweetener to taste.
  4. Combine mango puree with cooled tea. Stir well and chill.
  5. Serve over ice, garnish with mint if using.

Notes

  • Use a super ripe mango for best sweetness and flavor.
