Ingredients
  

  • 5.5 cups potatoes peeled and diced
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 3.5 teaspoons garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup onion chopped

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In the dish, combine potatoes, cheddar cheese, bacon, garlic, and onion.
  3. Stir in the mayonnaise until all ingredients are well coated.
  4. Bake uncovered for 1½ hours, or until potatoes are soft and the top is golden brown.
  5. Let rest a few minutes before serving warm.

Notes
