Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup almond milk or any milk of choice
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1.5 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey
  • 1 1/2 cup brewed coffee cooled
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Chocolate shavings or cocoa nibs optional
  • Fresh berries or banana slices optional

Method
 

  1. In a bowl or jar, mix oats, chia seeds, cocoa powder, maple syrup or honey, coffee, almond milk, vanilla, and salt until combined.
  2. Cover and refrigerate overnight (or at least 4 hours).
  3. In the morning, stir well. Add a splash of milk if it’s too thick.
  4. Top with chocolate shavings, banana, or berries if desired. Enjoy!

Notes

  • For creamier oats, use whole milk or oat milk.
