Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 bananas
  • 1 1/2 cups plain flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence

Method
 

  1. Cream together the butter and sugar.
  2. Crush the bananas, then add the eggs and vanilla essence. Mix well.
  3. Sift the flour and baking powder together.
  4. Add dry ingredients to the banana mixture and stir until combined.
  5. Pour into a greased loaf pan.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 60 minutes.
