Ingredients
  

  • lbs bone-in chicken wings
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp smoked or regular paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • cup honey
  • ¼ cup freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 2 tsp grated orange zest
  • 2 –3 tbsp hot sauce
  • ½ –1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • Nonstick spray
  • Sliced green onions for topping

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F (232°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with foil and spray with cooking spray.
  3. Pat wings dry and toss with baking powder, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
  4. Arrange wings on pan, spray lightly, and bake 20 minutes.
  5. Flip and bake another 25–30 minutes until golden and crisp.
  6. In a saucepan, melt butter, then whisk in honey, orange juice, zest, hot sauce, and chili flakes.

Notes

  • Baking powder helps wings get extra crispy without frying.
