Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 medium overripe bananas mashed
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  2. Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl; set aside.
  3. Mix melted butter, peanut butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla, and mashed bananas until smooth.
  4. Gently fold dry ingredients into wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips if using.
  6. Pour batter into pan and bake 45–50 minutes until toothpick inserted comes out clean or with moist crumbs.

Notes
