This protein banana bread is soft, naturally sweetened, and packed with nourishing ingredients like overripe bananas and your favorite protein powder. Whether you enjoy it post-workout or as a wholesome snack, it’s delicious and easy to make!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ cups white spelt, or oat flour
  • ½ cup protein powder 60g
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ¾ tsp baking powder
  • ¾ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 ½ cups mashed overripe banana
  • ½ cup yogurt or additional banana
  • ½ cup maple syrup honey, or agave
  • cup oil or water
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • Optional: chocolate chips walnuts, shredded coconut

Method
 

  1. Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan and line the bottom with parchment paper.
  2. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, protein powder, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  4. In another bowl, mix mashed bananas, yogurt, maple syrup, oil, and vanilla until smooth.
  5. Combine wet and dry ingredients until just combined.
  6. Fold in any optional mix-ins.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.

Notes
