Sloppy Joe Sandwich

The Sloppy Joe Sandwich is a beloved American classic—savory, sweet, a little tangy, and unapologetically messy (in the best way). Made with seasoned ground beef, onions, peppers, and a bold ketchup-mustard sauce, it's fast, filling, and perfect for weeknight dinners or casual gatherings.

  • 1/2 green bell pepper chopped
  • 1 clove garlic minced

Notes

  • Want it spicy? Add hot sauce or chili flakes to the sauce.
  • Ground turkey or chicken makes a lighter variation.
  • Serve open-faced for easier eating, or with cheese for a twist.
