Method
- In a bowl, whisk soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger to make the marinade.
- Place cod in a shallow dish or zip-top bag.
- Pour marinade over and let sit for 15–30 minutes.
- To bake: Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Place cod on parchment-lined baking dish and bake for 12–15 minutes, until it flakes easily.
- To pan-sear: Heat a bit of oil in a skillet.

Notes
- Salmon, halibut, or tilapia can be swapped for cod.
