Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb beef sirloin or flank steak thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce for marinade
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 8 oz egg noodles or rice noodles
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil for stir-frying
  • 1 bell pepper sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 2 green onions sliced
For the Sauce:
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger grated

Method
 

  1. Marinate beef with soy sauce, cornstarch, and oil.
  2. Cook noodles according to package; drain.
  3. Mix sauce ingredients together.
  4. Stir-fry beef until browned; remove.
  5. Stir-fry vegetables until crisp-tender.
  6. Add beef, noodles, and sauce. Toss well.

Notes

  • Slice beef against the grain for the most tender texture.
  • Add a splash of noodle water to loosen the sauce if needed.
